A decision made to hold an “improved and clean cemetery” month

Large-scale works are started in cemeteries in the municipality. Protection, beautification and cleaning of all cemeteries across the country will be carried out for one month. For this purpose, the next meeting of the Management Board of the National Associations of Azerbaijan Municipalities was held. At the meeting, it was decided to hold the "Abad and clean cemeteries" month, and recommendations were given to the mayors in the direction of conducting an inventory of the existing cemeteries in the city, town and village, and performing improvement and cleaning works. It was stated that the roads to the cemetery should be improved by the municipalities, fences and fences should be restored, and stray cattle should be prevented from entering the cemetery. Head and chest stones destroyed in cemeteries should be returned to their previous state. Surveillance cameras should be installed to ensure the protection of cemeteries and graves there. Another recommendation was the laying of water and electricity lines to cemeteries. In addition to the cleaning of weedy cemeteries and the cemetery surroundings, restoration of bent and fallen crosses on neglected graves in Russian cemeteries is also reflected in these recommendations.
